Digitinary and MadfoatCom signed a strategic partnership agreement during JO Fintech Festival 2026 to develop a central infrastructure for Open Banking and Open Finance services in Jordan.
The initiative aims to help banks and financial institutions expose their open banking compliant APIs, and to offer secure and reliable Open Banking and Open Finance services for fintech companies.
Bringing together two strengths
The partnership brings together:
- MadfoatCom's experience as the operator of Jordan's national eFAWATEERcom system, and its relationships with banks and billers built over more than a decade.
- Digitinary's capabilities in API management, open banking compliance solutions and integrations through the Wasl API Platform.
What the hub will offer
The proposed hub will offer unified and centralized infrastructure, connectivity, accessability and compliance tools to support Open Banking and Open Finance services for fintech and TPPs, in line with the Central Bank of Jordan's requirements and its vision for digital transformation and financial inclusion.
Next steps
The partners plan to begin their joint work within the Central Bank of Jordan's regulatory sandbox. A commercial launch will follow once the necessary regulatory approvals are completed.
Looking ahead
Through this partnership, Digitinary and MadfoatCom aim to contribute to the next stage of digital financial services in Jordan, drawing on Jordanian expertise, with an ambition to expand across the region.
