Digitinary was proud to take part in JO Fintech Festival 2026, organised by the Central Bank of Jordan and held at the Dead Sea on 23–24 September 2026. The festival brought together regulators, banks, fintechs, payment providers and technology partners to discuss the future of financial services in Jordan.
For us, it was two days of real conversations about where Jordan's Open Finance journey is today, and what it needs to move faster.
A new partnership: TakamolHub with Madfoatcom
The biggest moment for us at the festival was announcing our partnership with Madfoatcom to launch TakamolHub.
TakamolHub will serve as an infrastructure for Open Banking and Open Finance in Jordan. It is designed to enable the whole sector, especially fintechs, to connect with financial institutions through one reliable hub. The platform is built entirely on Digitinary's own technology.
This partnership brings together Madfoatcom's strong position in Jordan's payments space and Digitinary's experience in Open Banking infrastructure, to help the market move from regulation to real, working services.
On stage: "APIs, Data & Trust: The Three Pillars of Open Banking Success"
On 23 September, our Managing Director Salah Abu Msameh joined the panel "APIs, Data & Trust: The Three Pillars of Open Banking Success", alongside experts from the regional and international fintech community.
During the session, Salah shared Digitinary's practical view as a technology provider and licensed aggregator that has been part of Jordan's Open Banking journey from day one. Key points from the discussion included:
- A standard API is only the start. A working ecosystem also needs a clear certification process, so every institution is tested and verified before it opens its APIs to the market.
- Trust at the entity level, not only the API level. A shared, trusted directory of verified participants could save each bank from repeating the same due diligence on every fintech.
- Better tools around integration. Every institution should offer a real developer portal, a sandbox with useful sample data, a formal support channel, and a clear policy for API changes.
- Making consent testable. A clear conformance kit would help make the consent experience consistent across banks.
- Clear commercial models. Most fintechs are early-stage startups, and they need to understand their costs clearly to adopt Open Finance services with confidence.
Salah closed by highlighting the three pillars behind any successful Open Finance market: clear legislation, a complete technical and operational framework, and an actual mandate for data providers. Jordan already has the foundations in place, and the next step is moving quickly toward implementation, starting with a clear minimal scope and improving along the way.
Meeting the ecosystem
Beyond the panel and the partnership announcement, our team spent the festival meeting partners, banks, fintechs and the organisers and strategic partners of the event. These conversations are an important part of how we build, by listening to the real needs of the market.
Thank you
We would like to thank the Central Bank of Jordan and all the organisers and partners of JO Fintech Festival 2026 for a well-run and valuable event. A special thank you to Madfoatcom for their trust and partnership.
Digitinary will keep working with the ecosystem to help turn Jordan's Open Finance vision into real services that banks, fintechs and customers can use every day.
